What is Performance marketing?

Performance marketing is a combination of advertisement and innovation that helps advertisers grow their business through highly targeted marketing campaigns. Advertiser only pay for performance and affiliates are only paid when they peform.
As an advertiser, you choose the conversion point (Click, Lead, Sale) and pay only upon completion of said action.
At the Affiliati Network, we believe in results. Advertising dollars should be spent on producing results that move your company forward. Performance based marketing allows you to be on the cutting edge of marketing; testing, measuring and understanding metrics to keep improving a marketing campaign’s performance. Through real-time ROI measurement, performance marketing allows you to quantify every marketing dollar you spend.

Through our gold-standard tracking platform, Cake Marketing, we provide analytical data that helps both Advertisers and Affiliates optimize their campaign’s ROI. We believe communication is the cornerstone of all successful performance marketing efforts, and strive to be a liaison between all parties involved in order to produce the best results.

Why the Affiliati network?

i. The Affiliati Network strives to bridge the gap between Advertisers who seek high quality leads and sales and Affiliates who deliver high quality traffic. This symbiotic relationship results in a profitable model for all partners in the supply chain.

In order to understand how a sale is attributed to an Affiliate you need to first understand the principle of cookies. Websites store objects called cookies, information from that site such as your user preferences, login, shopping cart contents and more. If you have ever asked a website to “remember” your password and username then you have activated a cookie. You are often also cookied simply by visiting a website. Have you ever shopped for a product on Amazon and seen that product advertised to you on multiple sites for days or weeks afterwards? That is an example of you being cookied. Cookies help to tailor your experience online to you by remembering information and then customizing the information you see in the future.

  • In Performance marketing, a cookie helps to remember the link or ad the visitor to a website clicks on. Cookies can store the date and time of the click, if you have made a purchased or submitted your information. When a user visits a publisher's website and clicks an advertiser's creative ad, the visitor's browser receives the tracking cookie (in our case Affiliati’s tracking cookie) that identifies the advertiser, the publisher, the specific creative and commission amount. This data is stored within the link information in what are called "parameters" and can include even more anonymous data used for attribution, analysis, and optimization.
